MINI DRESSAGE COMPETITION ON THE SATURDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER

This year our mini dressage competition is being made a little larger to include a wider range of tests. We are planning to hold a Walk and Trot test, two Prelims, two Novices, and an Elementary / Medium judged on percentage.
This competition is to encourage genuine novices or those who just fancy having a go at a harder test than they would normally compete at, - at a low key friendly venue. It is held at Netherwood Lodge Farm in Chadwick End. Tests are held on a surface, warm up being on a surface and/or flat field depending on numbers.
Tests to be £6.00 for SRC members, £8.00 for others. SRC members and Netherwood Livery customers to have priority.
Schedule here, but you can contact Kate Matterson on 07967 378936 in the meantime.

Hi all,

Just to let everyone know that we had our best ever result on Sunday at a jumping qualifier.    We had a number of people placed individually plus we qualified in all three classes for the BRC Championships at Offchurch in August:

Clare Boardman qualified as an individual in the Novice

Intermediate team  (Livvy Gann, Phillipa Gibbs and Sarah Long)  qualified

Open team   (Helen Forster, Sarah Nunn and Lucy Bell) qualified

Hope our luck holds for next week (show jumping) and the following week (dressage)

 Regards David

Currently stabled at Purston Manor, Banbury where it is prefered that she stays. Looking for someone who wants to have fun hacking and/or competing up to Novice RC level - Lifts to all competitions/rallies provided (I compete at all RC events with my other horse). Would suit teenager or adult as she is very well behaved and an easy and reliable ride.

NOT SURE ABOUT TRANSPORTING YOUR HORSE

 Transporting  horses and the law

At all times passports of any horses in box must be carried. (photocopies acceptable)

If a journey is commercial (selling, buying, shows: as value of horse might be increased) a transport certificate must be completed.

If a journey is not commercial and is less than 50km/31miles each way, no transport certificate is needed.

Journeys longer than these, 50km/31m, need transport certificates.

It is not essential to actually fill in an Animal Transport Certificate as long as the relevant information is kept. A notebook is acceptable.

Worries about air space etc are linked to a new animal health bill and shouldn’t affect us unless we travel horses on the continent.

If you have any queries contact Marion  Smith  (who we thank for this information) or  by phone on 01926 429883
